chelsea and leroy part ways for now

apparently i blew up my memory card with all my mad clips i been shooting, yo. actually it wasn't me or my mad clips. after some research, i found that the 2GB sandisk card i have is the one card that is supposed to be compatible according to canon, but it's not. it gives "memory card errors" for no reason. surprised it took this long to give me an error. most people get this error pretty early on. 1GB cards are supposed to work regardless. luckily i found a sale on amazon. so for now, my film studio is shut down temporarily. i suppose it's for the best. weather's rainy. leroy is hiding in the barn. and choppy & mr d are in low-barometer induced comas.

i suppose i'll do some research in my time off and watch "mooch goes to hollywood" again and again. one of these days amber will acquiesce and watch it with me.

i've got two more films up. i have no idea what i'm doing as a film maker. i used the video caption on my camera and some software that we had on our computer. i know they are bad. but they are keeping my feeble mind occupied.

i am slowly but surely losing my mind. the animals are taking over. started their own series on youtube. a documentary of sorts. "little leroy eats a cookie" was the pilot more or less. here is a link to episode one.

i'm totally obsessed with a new reality tv show called meow mix house on animal planet (and i don't even have cable). it's a reality show starring 10 stray cats. yes, i said cats. the winner gets to be the new spokes cat for meow mix. and the losers all get adopted. brilliant! you can access 24 hour webcams at http://www.meowmixhouse.com/webcamsite.html the cats even have their own blogs. which i check daily. they need updated. i need help.

last friday some guy on a street corner was selling dvds out of a duffle bag. my husband couldn't resist. he brought home THE BEST movie ever called "mooch goes to hollywood". it was filmed back in 1971 starring vincent price and zsa zsa gabor. it's about a dog that hops a train to hollywood to become a movie star. how this movie ever got made, i don't know. for more info see: http://www.kiddiematinee.com/m-mooch.html

somebody missed me while i was away this past weekend in denver. porkchop dressed up in his finest to welcome me home. what a fine looking dog! (tux compliments of porkchop's grandma ilamay)

all hallows eve is fast approaching.

porkchop loves halloween. he loves to dress up and be someone else. to live out a dream... if but only for one night. to be superdog, capable of slipping collars, jumping fences, and running away. not far away, just down the block to the park where he will protect the neighborhood from giant mutant rabbits. and upon his return he will be rewarded with candy bars made of peanut butter and bacon.

today porkchop decided he wanted to be a train conductor. he inquired about the pay and the hours. i explained that he would need extensive training. he then said he would have to think about it. later he admitted that he really was just in it for the clothes.
