herschel's been living up to his herd sire title. marla, his old lady, appears to be mighty pregnant. looks like she could either be expecting triplets or one bionic angora/boer cross mutant-giant baby. she is one big momma. we're looking at late july - early august for delivery. can't wait.

Wow, AND he provides 24 hour siring services...extra studly!
He claims to be 24 hour, but most of his services seem to be in the middle of the afternoon, in the middle of the yard, while everyone is watching.

That is one big difference between human animals and other animals - having sex in private.
Well, he lives in a society where he's the top dude and all the ladies are in love with him. As soon as you get to societies where there are several dudes who have a shot (ie chimps, baboons, south grand) then the sneaking around usually begins, I'm afraid. I know our smaller roosters have to try and sneak sally down the alley if they want any action.
