today is...

my wedding anniversary. 3 years. time flies when goats are involved. especially rehabilitated goats. way to go, marla!

my day started brilliantly with breakfast in bed. farm chores and sunny skies followed. and it will end with a fine bottle of italian wine from friuli (where we took our vows). this weekend we leave for vegas to celebrate and participate in the race for the cure with my sistahs. how great is that?

this weekend our "top bunk drummer guy" sam got married. what a beautiful ceremony. the bride, kate. the dress. the garden. the vows. the look in their eyes. all, truly moving.

i'm so happy for you two. beyond words. i wish you nothing but the best. keep on keeping on. keep on keeping strong.

jason's mom got us "just married" flip flops for the beach. here are our footprints in the sand in castiglione della pescaia. i am still wearing my flip flops, longing to be back in italy on the beach sipping chianti and eating olives.
