albert says...

"do you like see-food?

albert's quite the joker. loves him some stevie guitar miller too. he posed for this photo this weekend when we had a handful of visitors drop by the rook farm for some animal fun. in addition to being a funny pic, it let us get a good idea of albert's true age. since he was adopted and the previous owner only had him for a short time, we weren't sure his history. judging by his teeth, we can tell he is at least 10 years old. which puts him in the elder horse category. no wonder his jokes are so corny.

albert ventured outside of the barn and got to explore the pasture today. i think he has fallen in love with baby snakes and stella (although it is only from a distance - through the fence). he enjoys taunting the puppies. he could live without the pigs. and is generally indifferent towards goats. he prefers a steady path along the fence line but does take to a wild gallop across the field. and as always, he has a hearty appetite when it comes to grass.
