farewell to stanley.
we said goodbye to stanley this morning. he went peacefully. and i feel we made the right decision keeping him here instead of sending him to a butcher. it was a hard day. and i'm tired. either i or jason will post more on the harvest later. but for now, a glass of wine to toast a noble beast.

Larissa, you made a brave decision to take such a noble beast out on humane terms, and in his home. While you toasted to Stanley, I made a toast to you - you're an inspiration.
I think both you and Jason are amazing people to have gone after a dream, carved out your ideal existence and work tirelessly to keep that dream a reality.
Kudos to you, you're a woman of the ages.
