mother's day.

at quitting time on friday, a co-worker was wishing all the ladies a "happy mother's day" and then she turned to me and said, "oh, happy sunday". what? like i don't celebrate because i haven't given birth! for starters, i am a stepmother, for which i am very happy and honored to be. i'm a mother to 2 dogs, 3 cats, and 4 lizards. i'm a foster mom to a road-weary beagle. and let's not forget.... i have a mom! a mom, who i love very much.

so, happy mother's day to me!
