tomorrow morning i am speaking at the young women's breast cancer symposium sponsored by the siteman cancer center in st louis. i have been asked to be part of a panel discusion to discuss the challenges of life after cancer. i am going to talk about my support group "sisters in survivorship", reconstruction, and healing thru creative arts (painting and music). i'm very nervous. i'm not much of a public speaker. but i suppose if there is anything in this world i could talk about it would be my own experiences. who would know about it better? of course this realization doesn't ease the nerves. but xanax will.
